Home office Reveal!

Sunday, March 15, 2015

I have been a bit lax blogging lately because we have had company the last couple of weekends-my Bestie Kim came to visit and my parents.  I am so proud of Kim!  She signed up for Team in Training Marathon to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  You can check out her progress on her new blog here.

I finally photographed my desk area in my new home office aka craft room aka guest room. It still needs paint and some artwork hung over the bed, but it's as good as it is going to get for now.

As I mentioned in previous posts, I had most of the items already in our house somewhere or in this room including the desk, bed, artwork, chair and lamp. If you follow me on Instagram then you know this black chair won't be here for long.

I have had this adorable Lowe's chandy sitting in the corner of the room for months and finally got around to giving it a coat of gold spray paint.  Nick was kind enough to hang it for me a couple of weeks ago.

As I mentioned earlier, the black chair isn't staying for long.  I found these guys at Goodwill and couldn't resist brining one home. I am pretty sure I am going to paint my new  chair raspberry or white.  But first I need to settle on a fabric. Have you seen any great fabrics lately?

I would have loved to use the pink velvet leopard fabric below, but it was sold out.

This fabric could be a fun option too, but I am not sold yet.

Do you have a space in your house that serves multi-purposes?  I feel like we all do now days.

Shopping with Robin-Homegoods, Ross & Goodwill

Tuesday, March 10, 2015

Hey Guys! I have seen some other bloggers posting about their awesome shopping deals, so I thought I would take you virtually shopping with me.

I found this gorgeous chair at Homegoods for $350.00.

These cute outdoor pillows were only $12.99.

Then I headed to Ross.

These teal faux croc nesting tables were so cute!  And a steal for $45.00!  They almost came home with me.

More outdoor pillows-$6.99!!!!

Candlesticks for $7.99-10.99.

Then I hit the mother load at Goodwill!

These beauties have great bones!  They are in desperate need of reupholstering, but for $20 each totally worth it.

Only one came home with me.

Dreaming of Summer

Tuesday, March 3, 2015

I don't know about you, but after 2 weeks of snow I am dreaming of Summer. There's nothing better than relaxing on the porch or patio with a ice cold beverage.

Sunday Ramblings

Sunday, March 1, 2015

Hey ya'll!  I hope you have had a good weekend so far!  While I took the boys to a birthday party at Monkey Joe's yesterday, Handsome Hubby installed my chandelier and teal velvet curtains in my office (check out my design board in this post). They look amazing!  I am hoping to get some good pictures today to show you, but it is gray and gloomy and the lighting is terrible.

Today is the first in a series I will call my Sunday Ramblings which will combine awesome products I have found online, cool home tours, what I have purchased recently and more.
