Coastal Master Bedroom - Week 2 Update

Sunday, October 4, 2020

We are on Week Four now of the Coastal Master Bedroom update. We are so close to being done that I can already see it.

Week Two we installed and painted the board and batten.  We used Young House Love's method if you want to follow their steps.

Week Three consisted of hanging the wallpaper on the accent wall and above the board and batten.

Week Four was finalizing the curtain choices and putting the room back together. Handsome Hubby's parents gave us this gorgeous leather wingback chair and we think it looks perfect in this corner.  We scooped up these cane nesting tables at HomeGoods. I'm trying to source these exact same ones.

Here's a sneak peek of the new lamps.  I'm not ready to show the accent wall and the bed quite yet.    This is the only blank wall. We are debating on whether to hang art to the left of the pocket door.

Project list:
Paint
Board and Batten
Nightstands
- Wallpaper
- Source New Lamps
- Curtains -ordered but still need to hang
- Decorative bed pillows- sourced fabrics but still need to sew
- Mirror over bed
- Hang artwork- I'm debating on hanging art on the wall of doors
- Modify ceiling fan (possibly)-I think we will keep the ceiling fan as is.

Here's a reminder of my initial design plans.

I'm linking up as a guest participant in the Fall 2020 One Room Challenge
